If anyone had told me of an art exhibition that my 20months old, 3,5 year old and mother in law were all going to love, I would have had a hard time believing it but such a place exists!
The Future World is a new permanent exhibition located in the ArtScience Museum, taking visitors through 16 art installations that respond and evolve in real-time to the visitors’ behavior. It is designed as a place for children to play and interact with the digital world but is very enjoyable for adults as well. We spent about an hour there, exploring some installations more than others (the balloon park was a big hit) and had a quick lunch just opposite the museum, inside the Marina Bay Sands foodcourt (Rasapura Master)
Allow a little bit of extra time for a stroll around the ArtScience Museum, the waterfront promenade is beautifully designed and will give you an amazing panorama of the bay and business district just opposite.
Extra tip: Aim to be at the museum at opening (10am) and prebook your ticket online and you will likely have the exhibition to yourself. We were there on a public holiday at 10 and there was hardly anybody for the first hour.
The museum and exhibition are stroller friendly.
